Energy Performance Certificate

The report gives your property a rating between A and G. “A” Rated properties have the lowest running costs and “G” the highest. The calculation is made using the characteristics of the home which include, but are not limited to: – the age of property, heating system, heating controls, insulation, glazing and lighting.

Once the calculation is made you will receive an 8 page report that will outline your score and give recommendations on how your rating can be improved. It is advised to act on the recommendations but you are under no legal obligation to do so.

All of our Team are fully qualified and hold all of the relevant qualifications to carry out the energy performance certificate, so you can rest assured that the service you receive will be of the highest level. The report takes an average of 40 minutes to complete and our team will need access to all rooms in the property.

EPC is valid for 10 years.

Landlords Property Checks can carry out an epc within 24 hours if customer need an epc on urgent basis. Sometimes we carry out an epc on the same day.

EPC is provided within 48 hours after the inspection is done. We can also provide report on the same day if customer request us.
